MY PHILOSOPHY
Each child is unique and special. Every child can reach their optimal
function when provided with the right tools and techniques. Empowering
each child, each family and their environment is key to achieving ideal
results. I believe that personalized therapy services using evidence
based practice is a key to achieving optimal functioning for each
individual.
MISSION
To provide personalized services using evidence based practice to
achieve the highest potential and optimal functioning in their
environment.
Parents, caregivers and professionals are an integral part of
intervention. I believe that parent education, support and collaboration
with caregivers and all the professionals involved is vital to achieving
highest functioning and maximum potential of each child.
SERVICES
My professional services include the following:
- Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment of Receptive and
Expressive Speech and Language Skills/Disorders/Delays
- Examination of Oropharyngeal Function
- Individualized Treatment Programs
- Consultations including IEP and IEE
- Patient and Family Education/Training
- Home-based and clinic-based treatment
- Social Skills Training (small home-based group as needed)
- Private Pay & Vendored by TCRC (Tri-Counties Regional Center)
The above services are provided for a variety of disorders including but
not limited to
- Apraxia
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Neurogenic Communication Disorders
- Augmentative Communication
- Developmental Delays
- Articulation and Phonological Disorders
- Fluency and Voice Disorders
- Swallowing and Feeding Disorders
- Auditory Processing Disorders
- Cognitive Rehabilitation
- Craniofacial Anomalies
- Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate and Velopharyngeal Sufficiency
In-home services are provided in Northern Los Angeles County and the
Conejo Valley including:
Agoura, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Thousand
Oaks, Newbury Park and Camarillo.
